Well, i always believe is important to give….. We must always teach each other to learn how to give… therefore, i would like to teach all of you here how you guys can give Blood!!!!
FIRST, grab your blood donation book…. If you don’t have, no fear… Just go the any blood donation drive and said you want to donate blood. They will give you a form to fill up your particulars and also your health status. Then when you are eligible to donate, they will give you this book… it can be another color depends on which hospital is organizing it…
Then, once the staffs receive your particulars, they will check your blood pressure, your weight, your hemoglobin level (the one where the poke you and take some blood and drop into a blue color water) and of course to check your blood type as well… Staff nurse will lead you the high-tech chair and put your hand like this and cuffed your arm pressurize your arm and give you a stick to hold…
Then they give you some analgesic injection so you will feel less pain…. believe me, this thing work… YOU WON’T FEEL ANY PAIN AT ALL (Is a lie though)
Then, the best time is here…. you see she take out this and you see the size of the needle!!!!
Tada….. the needle is in your vein already….
Then, is your turn to work…. you need to pump by keep pressing the wooden stick given to you earlier…
And then, you wait and wait for the bag to fill up… While you wait you can camwhore with your card…
One the bag is filled with blood and the weight is sufficient, our staff nurse will shake and take some bloods, at least two vials for testing later.
Once you are done, you will feel another sense of achievement and also satisfaction cause you did something good today….
And it anybody be nasty to you that day…. just shown them this…
And don’t forget to take your Iron for one week…
