Lee Hom in Xiao Yen’s talk show (Part 4)

Part 4 stated that if Lee Hom’s ‘Love in Disguise’  meets 1 million sales, he will go skinny dip but Xiao Yen Jie stated that he cannot do now because he is too skinny and is ugly. So, she suggested that he should go gym and build up his muscle first….

She also stated that his latest song ‘ Cai Mi You Yen Jiang Chu Cha’, she felt that Lee Hom yearns for this kind of lifestyle, but he felt this lifestyle is faraway from his lifestyle now. And the lyricist for this song is Eva Hsiao, and she is confused who is the one yearn for this kind of lifestyle.

Xiao Yen stated that Lee Hom is very careful in this interview. He tends to avoid the issues with girls such as Elva Hsiao and Liu Yi Fei, but slowly he managed to express his little secret under the eagle eyes of Xiao Yen Jie.

Part 3 talked about how much connection he had with Liu Yi Fei, and XIao Yen Jie tried to trick him to express whether he like  Liu Yi Fei as girlfriend…. And why he chose Liu Yi Fei as his main actress in his "’Love in Disguise’…… And trying to ask him whether he fell in love with his main actress? And asked him what type of girls he likes? I bet everyone want to watch this….Xiao Yen is so naughty because she is trying to trick Lee Hom to express who is his girlfriend, who is Liu Yi Fei’s boyfriend or whether Lee Hom got find out that Liu Yi Fei got boyfriend or not…. At the end, she cleared the issue out and stated Lee Hom likes someone more mature and calm with everything. He doesn’t like complicated type of girls….

This is the part 2 of the interview with Xiao Yen. They talked about Lee Hom’s involvement in movies, how he connects with Ang Lee, and how he proud he felt his music is recognized despite his music is plagiarized. Xiao Yen also noted that Lee Hom still depends on pin yin to read Chinese words. And she praised Lee Hom as good director. They talked about his skill as director, his connection with other actors and actresses (esp Liu Yi Fei)  in ‘Love in Disguise’ and the process he learnt throughout his work with ‘Love in Disguise’…

Few weeks ago, i received a call from a girl called Rainie….

Rainie: Hello, may i speak to Miss Kok?
Me: Speaking here…
Rainie: Hi Ms Kok, I’m Rainie from XXX Skin Solution.I would like to inform you that you have been chosen for a RM400 free facial… I would like to book an appointment with you in our centre in Mid Valley.
Me: Huh?
Rainie: Yes. Miss Kok, you are chosen for our lucky draw for free facial.
Me: Oooo ok… so, you want me to come for free facial?
Rainie: Yes. So, can you give me a date for appointment??
Me: This month?
Rainie: Yes.
Me: Then, i cannot come because I'm based in Ipoh now.
Rainie: Oooo but this promotion is for this month.
Me: Then i cannot come. Thank you…
Rainie: If like this, Ms Kok, I'll hold this promotion till you come back to KL.
Me: (This people are so greedy). OK. So, it will be 14th August then.

I love this song.....

Seriously, I'm sucker for 40s to 50s Chinese Songs, especially by Yao Lee and Bai Guang or Pow Soo Keong.....

Therefore, when i found this song in YouTube, I'm ecstatic to share with you guys that Bai Kuang is married to Malaysian, and she has a massive big tomb in Semenyih, Malaysia that looks like this...

She even have her own piano tomb….

That played her songs automatically….. OMG… imagine you were there midnight…. and I’m waiting for you to come home 等著你回來 is played during that time… eeerrriiiiieee….

Anyway, here is a little bout Bai Kuang… courtesy of Wikipedia!!!

Bai Guang aka Shi Yongfen is born in Beiping (now is known as Beijing) during 1921, moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during 1999  was a famous movie star and singer. By the 1940s, she became one of the Seven great singing stars^.

Upon the Communist takeover in 1949, Bai moved to Hong Kong. By 1950 Bai tired of the low-quality films she was given and retired as an actress in China. After marrying an American GI, she lived in Japan and successfully opened a nightclub in Tokyo's Ginza District in 1953. The union did not last, and she returned to Hong Kong, recording some music through the late 1950s. In 1969 she resettled in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur, where she married a man 20 years her junior. Her last public appearance was in 1995 at Hong Kong's TV top 10 Chinese singer award presentation^.

On August 27, 1999 she died in Kuala Lumpur due to colon cancer at the age of 78

Bai's tomb rests in Semenyih, Malaysia. It is unique since it plays her music. Her gravesite attracts visitors from all around the world including China, Hong Kong, Germany, Denmark and Spain^.

It feels so weird because i can’t wait to leave Malaysia, but a famous singer like Bai Guang want to rest for the rest of her life here……  maybe i seriously don’t know how appreciate Malaysia yet…

Family

I always got a bit emo when I was waiting for my bus ride back to Ipoh.

Despite, I got angry with my sis a while ago, but I still worry and miss her at this moment.

In Chinese, we called this 'hao but dui sam' aka mouth does not match heart!!!! You may said you think this person is not important but deep down in your heart you are so worry for the person. Yes..... I know. I have being a silly girl!!!!




Maybe I have been always worry about little things since young.

When I was young, I worry people don't like me. I look at the other children, they looked so cute and good at doing what children suppose to do. I'm on the other side of the world. I'm not good at making people laugh. I realized all adults such as my aunts and uncles, they prefer my cousins more. I got lesser portion of chocolates too. Even my cousins also didn't play with me. I always feel left out. And I always venture into my own world because no one would play with me.


But, as I grow up, realized I don't need their approval. I only need my dad, mom, sis and bro's blessing to be who am I today!!!!

Things at home have improve. I'm happy because I know they are safe n sound without my presence

In Oprah, a lady named Maya Angelou talked about her aging process......

Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day... like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist first. The audience laughed so hard they cried. She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words!

Maya Angelou said this:
