This journey is incredibly humbling for me.

From being wounded and not knowing which way is up and wondering whether or not i could be ALIVE or not and at the same time, finding new MEANING in my new life in this FOREIGN place.....It's been an AMAZING journey

I am a daughter, sister, dog-owner and friend.

Currently, i am learning to train my mind and body. I want to hold my body, challenge my physical ability to a level i could never imagine.

I definitely have learn to stop letting these people who do so little for me in my life but control so much of my mind, feeling and emotions.

Learning to let them go from my life is definitely one of the best achievement i ever done to myself.

Goodbye my friends.... Hope when we meet again, we are once strangers again.

The Sungai Buloh Leprosy Settlement.

I had the best view from my room back in hostel..... tat's the peaceful leprosy centre from my room....

Today, I read my The Star Weekender "Reduce to Rubble” written by Shoba Mano, As mentioned in the article, Uncle Ratan passed away early this year, and this really gives me a spam of heartfelt as I know this uncle.... Not that well, but in my memory, I know as the multi-lingual cheerful uncle which rode his “Kap Chai” around the settlement, the first time, I met him, he spoke with me in Canto…. It gives me hell of shocked…. Deep down in my heart, I was telling myself, luckily I didn’t badmouth anybody in Canto, or else he’ll understand what I said…. Hahaha…. He was the man that offered the settlement "Balai Raya" with badminton court and ping pong ball facilities to us. He was the man that introduces Leprosy Settlement to me. Uncle Ratan is one of the person in-charge of the Leprosy Settlement..... He looks after the place.......... So, he knows many many things......
Sometimes you should not trust you ear so much till you see it with your own eyes..... This proverb is suitable for people who have heard bout the Sungai Buloh Leprosy Settlement but never set a foot in it. Please do believe half of the story. Story such as the ugly, deformed people will still infect you with the leprosy virus and this people can’t walk and will beg u to give them money and feed them, the stigma goes on and on.... these are all BULL SHIT!!!!!! Uncle Ratan looks so healthy and still goes around with his “Kap Chai”. And some Leprosy patients have their own beautiful flowers farms and they are earning income independently.
The blend of nature and man-made history.....

I’m one of the pioneer students of Physio College who moves into the newly-built hostel and college of KSKB, which situated in Sungai Buloh, and right below my hostel is the Sungai Buloh Leprosy Settlement. I just love the place. You want to know why, because that is where the Physio students spent their time as there are just not enough place for few thousands students in the hostel to play sport and have gathering without others people keep nosing at our business. The Sungai Buloh Leprosy Settlement provides us the one and only basketball court, badminton court, ping pong tables, jogging track.... and last but not least.... the beautiful scenery with hills of beautiful trees as our back drop... and non-polluted fresh air as the oxygen supply. And the only thing we need to do is just climb down the slop of the hill, trespass a nursery and then, VOILA…. Drop by and drink cooling yet cheap coconut drink….. Yummy… and then…. Roll our basketball……

Today, this Leprosy Centre is only left in my memory......

And today, the demolishment of the settlement has done, I just feel is definitely waste of money and also the person who decide to demolish the settlement has jus insulted and history-maker site and ended a history of the brave Malaysians who no matter what happened to them, they still move on with their life, and successfully bring out the stigma from them and set their own identity in this small community. This also make Malaysia has poorer sense of preserving our own legacy and identity. WHERE IS THE SEMANGAT MALAYSIA BOLEH in this issue?????? Malaysian today who has not experience the past, will not understand the importance of certain things in advancing their future. So, MALAYSIA BOLEH is only useful in international arena???? That’s rather ironic to hear…..

I have a lump over my periauricular......

When i was 8 years old, i lost my left earring when i was playing games with my friends in Assunta Primary. Well, days after the incidence, i have an infection over my left earlobe..... Soon, i have a small lump form over behind my earlobe. Over the years, i didn't know what it is.... so, i moved on with my life with it....

But, things change tremendously in Ipoh, i decided to pierce my ears again after waiting so many years........

Jay Chou's Secret......

Do you have a secret that you can't tell anyone?????
Today i wanna share with you a secret..... Secret by Jay Chou

This is a simple yet beautiful love story that revolves around the everlasting era of music background..... Through out the film you will see the beautiful architecture work of the 100 years old building, small house equipped with gramophone and piano.... then s small music store with multi-compilations of old records....then, you will see a beautiful scenery of seaside from a roof top..... and then pictures of Chopin and his lover.....

A high school student named Ye Xiang Lun(by Jay Chou), who transferred to Tamkang Secondary School, which happened his father Ye (Anthony Wong) is the headmistress. On the first day, he walks through the hundred years old building, which is the piano rooms with his classmate, Qin Yi (Sky) suddenly a mysterious piano solo draws his attention. He follows the song and found a girl, which is Xiao Yu (Kwai Lun-Mei), who was playing the score earlier in one of the old music room.Xiang Lun assumed Xiao Yu as one of his classmates, which always late for class..... He draws to her smile.... and he spends lots of time with her and become intimate friends.
One day he asked Xiao Yu "What is the melody you played the first day we met?".... Then Xiao Yu whispered "Is a secret that cannot be told"
Soon, they become closer to each other..... However, Xiao Yu seem to be very mysterious and always brushed off Xiang Lun's questions by saying it is a secret that cannot be told.....There is a scene where Xiang Lun collected 15 apples and put under his table because is the number of days Xiao Yu didn't come to school..... It was so cute yet romantic to see Xiang Lun carried all the apples with both of his hands and looking very blur at Xiao Yu.... Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding when Xiao Yu saw Xiang Lun kissed Qin Yi she mysteriously disappear.... Xiang Lun tried to locate her..... but he realised things were getting weird especially the day he listened to his dad talking bout Xiao Yu, which is one his students during 1977...

It turned out that Xiao Yu is the girl that crossed from 20 years ago.... and the key that open the time door was by playing the piano piece "Secret" using the old grand piano in the old piano room.

"SECRETS"

Follow the notes upon a journey

At first sight marks one's destiny

Once the voyage comes to an end

Return lies within hasty key

According to Wikipedia, the interpretation to this words....

"Playing the notes will allow one to embark on a journey. The first person you see will be the one who will be able to see you to return to the present, play the piece quickly."

This movie really well-blended..... With the background setting, the choice of music... the piano battle using some old pieces of waltz.... the storyline is well-scripted.....In the movie, some of the excerpts are really meaningful.... especially when Xiang Lun and Xiao Yu was admiring the painting of Chopin and his lover. Xiang Lun was lamented that this lovers had eventually parted aways after being lovers for 10 years, however, Xiao Yu envied that the couple was able to spend 10 years together.... and then Xiang Lun added this period of ten years was the period when Chopin produced his most outstanding work....
And then, the best scenes are those piano sessions done by Mr. Jay Chou in this movie especially the "Piano Battle". There are also scene where Xiang Lun and Xiao Yu crossed hands and played, and the scene Xiang Lun played two pianos at the same time.... and there is one time where Xiang Lun played single-handedly on the piano behind him with his eyes close.

Yesterday was my daddy's birthday

Yesterday was 21st August 2007..... It was a very important day for me and my family.... it was my dad's birthday.... But, i were not by his side as i was working in Ipoh..... Initially, i remembered yesterday was his birthday as my phone alarmed me the event of the special day "DAD'S BIRTHDAY"...... But, i was busy clapping and vibrating my patient, so, no time to make call on the spot, so, i make a mental note to remind myself to call my dad and wish him happy birthday..... Patient after patient.... my mind slowly drifted to the work of the day, i totally did make 8 little cutie new born baby, cried....and gave me a hatred look with their innocent eyes..... i finally forgot bout my small mental note regarding my dad's birthday....
Mei smsed me tat she is going to watch Jay Chou's Secret...... but she is going to watch the 5pm show.... which is exactly the time of my office punch clock makes the train sound....... my work ended at 5pm..... So, since i'm going to watch alone... i make myself another mental note that i'm going to watch "Secret"..... Why???? because is acted by Jay Chou.... Directed by Jay Chou... and guess what.... the songs are composed by him..... wow.... tat's interesting.....
When i reached home after work, the big house is empty except Mimi... the little devil bitch...... keep barking at me as though i'm the thief..... anyway, i "ta pao" Assam laksa and tau fu hua.... had my meals in front of the idiot box... then, read little Potter book... then, stole the wireless line from the idiots next door...... and downloaded Lee Hom's Moon Light Child.... i jus love You Tube... long life You tube......
and finally i received a message
"Do You Know WHat Is Day Today" .... from Joe..... My little bro's english has gone from zero to negative 2.......
Woopss... i forgot bout my dad's birthday....
i replied and lied.... " i remember and will call him now.."
I dialed my dad's no... and make a mind whether wanna sing him a song or not.... should i sing.... should i not.... should i sing.... should i not.... finally when he picked up the phone... i said " happy birthday dad..... hope u have a wonderful life... and good health...." i'm such a coward..... ass hole coward who does not dare to sing for her dad on his birthday...... mayb i just don't have the heart....
Finally, i make another mental note "PLEASE SING FOR YOUR DAD ON HIS NEXT BIRTHDAY"

Maybe i jus need an extra brain like PDA or blackberry to remind me many things, to key in my mental notes.... but, i guess i jus need lots lots of hard disk space... if i really need to have one......

Small note for me ..... "IF YOU HAVE THE HEART, YOU WILL DO IT WELL"
